Doing More with Tea
Hot tea straight from the pot is one of life's great simple pleasures. For a creative mind, though, the potential of the whole leaf is limitless. Tea doesn't have to be enjoyed from a mug. The right tea can work wonders as part of marinade, a cocktail, a dessert, or even a poultice. It's an easy way to bring a worldly flavor to any dish, and finding the right tea for the job is all part of the fun. Here are a few hints:
- Matcha typically mixes very well with other ingredients, but it is not meant as a replacement for flour.
- Breakfast tea can be enjoyed after noon.
- Try not to use too much alcohol with your tea. This wastes the tea.
- Although chimpanzees and gorillas have been known to drink tea, Mighty Leaf Tea is best appreciated by humans.
