Ebony Flower
This beautiful black tea flower from the lower Assam region of India consists of leaves that are hand-tied and sewn.

This flower boasts a very malty, delicate flavor with a dry finish, akin to a dry red wine. Though most tea flowers should only be infused once, the Ebony Flower can be infused up to three times and is incredibly smooth each time.

A lighter, smoother black tea. I love it while reading a book.

I bought this tea to put in the glass tea pot, and it does not look as pretty as I would like it to. Flavor is nothing special either.

This is a great tea to use in a clear mug. It opens up to look like a sea anemone. You can use it over a few times without it becoming bitter. It produces a red/amber color. The drawback if you like strong teas is that this is pretty mild.
