This tea is truly exceptional and it’s definitely worth its high price. It is very important though, to prepare it properly. Let the hot water cool down a bit before poring it over it. This tea is such a high quality that its taste doesn't change even after making second and third cup out of the same already used leaves. This is definitely my favorite now.

We tried just about all Gyokuras out there. None came even close. This is the sweetest, has the fullest body, envelopes the whole palette magnificently, and has a glorious natural sweetness.

Missed out when it was first introduced, I used these as Christmas presents for family who knew about this kind of tea and were very excited. Got a chance to try it, and it is VERY smooth, with good flavor.

This is by far the best Gyokuro I have found. And I really searched.
A great accomplishment and another example of the Mighty Leaf people's fine palate at its best.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to afford this tea often, but it is indeed well worth the expense. The extremely smooth finish makes you feel centered immediately. You just need to try it. It's some of the best green tea I've ever had.

I keep my Gyokuro in a tin in my studio and use it as a soothing break during work, as a meditative agent when I design and as a pick-me-up when I'm tired. I can't think of a time when this lovely green tea doesn't make my day better.
