I feel transported when I sip this tea.
When I need to de-stress, or just be kind to myself, I brew a cup of Jasmine Pearl. It's a simple, yet special, break I give myself. I love this tea!
I've previously purchased (and love) ML's Mountain Spring Jasmine tea pouches. So, when I saw the jasmine downy pearls in the loose tea selections, I wanted to give that tea a try as well. The tea is excellent. Perfectly flavored, not too bitter, light caffeine that is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. I plan to purchase this tea again and look forward to enjoying it in the future.
I know good jasmine tea. I can smell it from a mile away. I have been traveling the world for about 7 years now and I fell in love with the jasmine tea of the Himalayan regions. I have tried every kind of jasmine tea on the market in the US, hoping to find the one with the true jasmine taste I only found in Asia. I never ever found anything even close. That's until in a hotel in DC I ordered a cup of green tea and to my utmost surprise it was very very similar to the tea I was after. Not quite, but very close. So I ordered all their jasmine tea and tried all of them. They were all nice but this one, the Jasmine Downy Pearls is the absolute best, the one I have been trying to find for years. It tastes heavenly. You only need to put a few of the pears in boiling water and brew it for just 2-2 1/2 minutes. Enjoy.
I judge Indian restaurants by their coconut chutney and Chinese restaurants by their jasmine tea. Living in the SF Bay area, I've never found a better jasmine tea. For the nose and the palate, the jasmine always delights, and the green tea is such a gentle way to help greet the day, esp when it's cold outside.
This tea is such a treat. My son travels to the orient a lot. He knows my love of tea and he always brings me back special teas from China. He says that there teas are available in special varieties like wine is in upscale wine shops here. He has brought back some amazing teas for me to taste.
But this tea is better than anything he has brought direct from the best tea shops in Hong Kong or Taiwan.
It is ceremonially special. When I drink it, it is an experience of such love from creation.
This is simply the best green tea that I have ever tasted. The aroma of course makes the tea.
When I want to celebrate or just need to feel good I brew Jasmine Downy Pearls. This tea is the ultimate treat. I put the pearls in a French press and when I pour the hot water on them they delight my eyes by gently unfurling into lovely fern-like shapes. This alone brings a smile to my face. While the pearls are steeping I inhale the heavenly fragrance that transports me to exotic lands. The first sip, ah.... soothing, complex, and simple all at once. Of course, I think, this is not a tea, it is an experience! Cares and worries melt in the fragrance, I feel as if I am laying in a bed of flowers. my throat and soul warmly caressed by an essence of beauty.
Jasmine is my favorite of all tea. I've tried jasmine downy pearls from many different retailers and Mighty leaf has been the freshest tasting of all. I highly recommend this tea.
This jasmine pearl is a treat I give myself when I need to relax and renew. The flavor is exquisitely fresh, the fragrance is divine. It is heaven in a teacup!
The best thing about this tea is the aroma, it smells good in it's dry state, but blooms when the water is poured. The best way to describe this tea is liquid aroma, sweet, flowery, and light.
It is very smooth green tea with distinctive long aftertaste. One of my favorite of hot green teas. Lately we used it chilled with mint leaves - was outstanding.
Had a peppery tast that I wasn't used to with Jasmine pearl tea.
High quality tea for a enjoyable tea ceremony.[...]
When I originally bought this tea we were pleasantly surprised at out good it is. We drink it on those days where something special is called for. Like a rainy day after it has been sultry hot. On a Sunday Morning while reading a good book.
