I love the aroma of this tea, full of earthy nuttiness. It is immediately calming to take in the aroma and smooth taste. It just needs to be slightly stronger in flavor to match the aroma.

I think this and Hojicha are my absolute favorites. They carry me through every day(I drink alot, hehe). The popped rice adds this nice toasty flavor. The green tea is smooth. And overall, the tea is pretty affordable so I'm pretty happy to find something that I can always rely on to take the edge off.

This was a wonderful tea. It has a very light color, but a surprisingly deep and pervading roasted flavor. This compliments any meal and is one of my favorite whole leaf teas.

I enjoy this tea after lunch and with dinner. The toasted rice adds to the great flavor of this tea. It is very calming and with just a enough caffine to keep me going through out the day.

I usually like bright, fruity teas on the sweet side. But roasted rice flavor really grabs me in the darker more earthy flavored types of Tea.

I have, therefore, tried any I could find.

This Kyoto Rice tea from Mighty Leaf was my first and remains the best. Its rice-flavor has a depth and stringth to it that no others match, IMO. And that depth and strength miraculously do not overwhelm the whole tea impression and experience.

This is the tea I reach for in my special moods. A very special experience unequaled by all the other Rice teas I have tried. And a marvelous conversation piece for special guests at special times.

Reasonably priced, but such a balanced, special blend is worth its weight in gold.
