The Chocolate Tea Sampler/Collection is wonderful.
1) The aromas for 4/6 teas were outstanding. 1 had a beautiful aroma but lacked substantial taste, and one was disappointing, but powerful and destinct--making me happy for having it in the collect.
2) Two teas lacked the aroma, taste, or feel of chocolate--the marsala tea (which was, nevertheless, one of my favorate teas and which I intend to purchase regularly) and the Mocha pu-erh tea (which, unfortunately, smelled and tasted like the dirt or bark of a forest--but I still drank a full, large cup of it).
3) The variety was great for my unit's employees' varying senses of taste, and needs for caffeine-full vs non caffeinated beverages.
4) The teas were great as stand alone teas as well as with foods and high quality chocolates.
5) The loose leave teas were entertaining to place into tea pouches--a simple, and cathartic process in making tea (I hate smoke and smoking, but it is like the coolness associated with people rolling their own cigarrette--but healthier (:)) ).
6) Great idea for Valentine's Day--made me look creative and impressive for providing it for staff (of the MDs, RNs, LPNs, patient care assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy techs, housekeepers, etc. who had a cup, the vast majority really loved it).
7) Even though the box collection looked small, it was very ascetically pleasing, and I served a whole bunch of tea with each 1oz canister even before I started reusing previously infused tea pouches (which worked and produced some potent tea).

Even though we love your silken teabags, we have found that we really prefer your loose teas. We steep the loose teas in one of those small European strainer/squeezer carafes, and make about 36 oz. of exceptional tea with no fuss at all! Really great for when friends drop by - they are always surprized at the wonderful, tasty, delicious, teas we serve, and at the wide variety of our teas.

Surprisingly we both enjoy the various smooth relaxing flavors after dinner and love the fact that we get to taste chocolate in our tea along with other well matched tastes.

All six teas lacked much flavor. All of them had a strange aftertaste that was not pleasant. I am a big fan of Mighty Leaf Teas but not these.

This is a collection of very different teas so I'd be clicking on many of the characteristics listed in order to describe them all. There is an amazing variety of flavors here, some more chocolate-y than others but all intriguing. Three of the teas are herbal (no caffeine), suitable for anyone at any time. The other three teas are black teas which are overall my favorites. But the chocolate mint rooibos is a lovely herbal tea, just perfect for after dinner.

I liked this collection a lot. I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves it, and while I am not a huge chocolate fan, I am a huge tea fan -- I especially loved the mocha pu-erh and the chocolate mint rooibos. The tea is pretty expensive, and I'm not sure it should be this high considering they are using ceylon (cheap) and rooibos (super cheap) for a number of the mixes, as well as chai mix (herbal and cheap). Overall it's a cute little set.

Smells great, but the taste is really a let down. In general, the teas' delicate aroma is promises much but delivers very little. The Mayan Chocolate was my favorite (though came out very cloudy). The Masala Chocolate Truffle was distinctive and earns points for the combination of indian spices with chocolate. The Mocha Pu-Erh was my least favorite. I had tried plain pu-erh in the past and found that it tasted very earthy (translation: dirt). The addition of chocolate did not improve the flavor and, once brewed, the tea lost even its chocolate scent.

I was very excited to get this tea as it sounded interesting and am usually a huge fan of mighty leaf teas. I thought it tasted like absolutely nothing and was a waste of money. It was also difficult to make and came out very grainy. i've tried all the chocolate teas at this point and would not recommend them.

The Orange, Mayan, and Pear-Caramel varieties have a slight aroma of chocolate but no taste of it. Masala, Pu-Erh, and Mint have no chocolate taste whatsoever. A nice collection of teas, but don't buy them for the chocolate.
