Many Darjeelings are described as "afternoon" teas and have minimal flavor and a very flat taste. Darjeeling should have a smooth, full bodied flavor that lingers and satisfies. Mighty Leaf Himalayan Peak Darjeeling Organic is the only Darjeeling I have found in years that lives up to the standards that good Darjeeling tea should have. I have served it to so many people who just could not believe that tea this good exists!

I liked the hint of smokiness in the tea, I drink it mostly in the afternoons as a pick-me-up. I hope to find it in the stores that already carry MLT.

I have always liked high quality Darjeelings but my tastes may have changed over the years. This tea is just too bitter for me. Don't get me wrong, it's great with milk and sugar and a good cup to get going in the morning. I just prefer a tea that I can drink "straight" so I can fully enjoy the complexity and aroma.
