Pot is large compared to other cast-iron pots. It is also very resonably priced. If you're looking to get this as a gift, it is perfect - however Mighty Leaf doesn't sell the cast iron pot trivets, which would make the pot a complete gift. I had to purchase trivet separatly so it was a complete-package-gift.
