The harmonic whistle makes this teapot very special. My family uses the teapot to heat water over the other sources in our kitchen just to hear the whistle as it adds to the whole tea experience. You have to smile at the unusual and loud call it makes. We found you can control the whistle with temperature just as you can with a regular whistling tea kettle.
