Birthday Cake Frosting

Step 1: Make the Tea Butter:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 tsp (2 pouches)  Vanilla Bean

Directions

1. Place butter in a saucepan on low heat
2. Once the butter begins to melt, stir in tea. Steep tea in heating butter, being careful not to burn it.
3. After butter has begun to clarify, cover and remove from heat, allow tea to continue steeping for 5 minutes
4. Strain the tea from the butter, making sure to press any excess butter from the leaves
5. Transfer the infused tea butter to the fridge to solidify for up to 5 minutes

Step 2: Make the Frosting:

Ingredients:

3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup tea butter
1 tbsp whipping cream

Directions

Mix tea butter and sugar together with an electric mixer on low.  Once combined add the cream and mix on a higher setting for a few more minutes.
