Earl Grey Ice Cream

Ingredients:

30g of Loose Leaf Earl Grey Tea
4 Cups 1/2 & 1/2
4 Cups Heavy Cream
1 & 1/4 Cups Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

1. Heat 1/2 & 1/2 with the sugar, and salt
2. Simmer until sugar and salt dissolve (about 5 minutes)
3. Remove from heat and pour over tea in a large, heat proof, glass pitcher
4. Allow to steep 10 minutes
5. Strain and mix in the heavy cream
6. Process in an ice cream maker about 40 minutes
7. Transfer to a freezer container and allow to set over night
